What this tool does
Compare user-entered repair and replacement scenarios without making a purchasing recommendation. The calculation or generated note uses only the values you enter. It does not look up market prices, ownership records, employee data or external systems.
What it does not prove
A completed worksheet is not proof of legal ownership, accounting treatment, safety, technical serviceability, employee responsibility or regulatory compliance. Organizations should use their own policies, approvals and qualified personnel where those issues apply.
Good recordkeeping practice
Use a stable asset identifier, distinguish facts from assumptions, and preserve supporting evidence where appropriate. If a value is unknown, recording it as unknown is usually better than inventing a precise answer.
